Returns and refunds

Foodypack sells to both business customers and consumers. The following provisions apply to returns and withdrawals.

No voluntary returns

Foodypack does not offer a voluntary return, exchange or money-back guarantee. Non-defective goods are accepted for return outside a statutory right of withdrawal only if Foodypack expressly confirms this in writing in the individual case.

Standard goods for consumers

Consumers generally have a statutory right of withdrawal for distance contracts concerning non-personalised standard goods, unless a statutory exception applies. Details are set out in our withdrawal information.

Custom-made and personalised products

Under Section 312g(2) No. 1 of the German Civil Code (BGB), there is no statutory right of withdrawal for goods that are not prefabricated and for whose manufacture an individual choice or specification by the consumer is decisive, or which are clearly tailored to personal needs.

This applies in particular to individually printed, customer-specific packaging or packaging produced following customer approval. Foodypack does not grant any voluntary right of return, exchange or cancellation for such products. Cancellation is excluded after binding approval or the start of production unless Foodypack expressly confirms otherwise in writing.

Business customers

Business customers within the meaning of Section 14 BGB do not have a statutory consumer right of withdrawal.

Defects, incorrect deliveries and damage

Statutory rights in the event of defects, incorrect deliveries or other non-conforming performance remain unaffected. Please inspect the goods promptly upon receipt and notify us of any complaint, stating the order number and describing the issue and, where possible, providing photographs. For merchants, the inspection and notification obligations under Section 377 of the German Commercial Code (HGB) also apply.

Refunds

A refund will be made where there is a statutory entitlement or where Foodypack expressly confirms a refund. Reimbursement will generally be made using the payment method originally used, where technically possible.
